1st day: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Dades gorges.

Departing from the riad and heading towards the high Atlas Mountains. You'll enjoy the splendid views of the high mountains and crossing over the snaky roads. Berber villages are the extraordinary sceneries you'll have to see while crossing the mountains; they stand live on the side of the mountains with spaces of agricultural fields. Reaching the highest point of the Tishka pass, (about 2260 m high), the point is likely to be covered with snow during winter or after snowy times. Driving down to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a World heritage site, and a distinctive location for film making, where international movies were filmed like Babel and Gladiator. Lunch will be served in the Kasbah. Then we'll drive towards Ouarzazate, home of Cinema in Morocco, priding with its beautiful Kasbah Taourirte and other exciting monuments of the region. We continue our journey to Dades gorges, where our first day ends. A marvellous valley, cool and offering a series of Berber villages alongside the road and the aroma that comes from the Roses groves within the valley. Overnight in a hotel.

2nd day: Dades valley - Todra Gorges - Merzouga.

After breakfast, we'll drive down to Merzouga, but we'll pass through Tinghir and Tinejdad, two Berber towns on the Todgha gorges until we reach Tafilalet region (composed of Erfoud and Rissani towns ) until we arrive in Merzouga. You'll have a short rest in your hotel, before you mount the camels to start your journey to the bivouac. On your way there, you'll experience the tranquillity of the sahara desert while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the sunset. You'll arrive at the bivouac in the early evening, having your local made diner and enjoying the drams music, before you get to sleep under your cosy tent.

3rd day: Merzouga - Draa valley - Marrakech.

You're expected to wake up early (before dawn), ride back your camels to see the sunrise.shower and breakfast will be held in the hotel, the driving through Rissani, the initial capital state of Morocco before Fes and lately Rabat.Unlike our second day, we will trun our to Alnif on the road to Erfoud, there we'll go on a vast desert, formed through rocks and savannah for about 200 kms. Passing by Nkob ( where we'll have lunch), a little village, located in the middle of the valley of Draa, and surrounded by palm trees. Then we continue our way to Ouarzazate by passing through Agdz, then up towards the high atlas mountains.Arriving Marrakech by sunset or early evening.

5 The best of our trip in Morocco!

Reviewed by , UK

It was the highlight of our trip in Morocco without doubt. Mbarek (our guide and friend) was very attentive and took a good care of us, beyond his responsibility as a guide. Both meals and accommodation exceeded our initial expectations. We recommend this tour to anyone who want to leave the bustle of Marrakech and enjoy the scenery of mountains and the hospitality of the people in the south. Cheers! Anna

We were so lucky to have Mbarek as a driver and guide during the trip. He was patient, funny and very helpful. We had an amazing time and enjoyed every minute of the trip. The car was comfortable for the four of us and the accommodation was very clean. Totally recommended!

5 Wonderful trip to Merzouga!

We had a really great time during the trip with our guide, Mbarek. He was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel in Dades valley was nice but the camel riding was the highlight of our trip. We really enjoyed playing drums and dancing into the night. Thank you for everything!
